As a key infrastructure and energy storage demonstration project in Shandong Province, the project is divided into two phases with a total investment of 780 million yuan and covers an area of about 58 acres. It can provide diversified services such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, and black start for the regional power grid, marking a new stage in the large-scale application of energy storage in the southern Shandong region.
After full capacity grid connection, the project can achieve a peak shaving capacity of about 400000 kWh per day, which can smooth out the output fluctuations of new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaic power generation, and supplement power supply during peak hours. It is equivalent to providing power buffer for about 200000 households in Taierzhuang District and surrounding areas, which is of great significance for improving the voltage level of the power grid and ensuring the reliability of power supply.
The project will achieve project revenue through three methods: capacity leasing, spot trading, and capacity compensation. This not only ensures the long-term stable operation of the project, but also provides a replicable commercial path for the development of the regional energy storage industry.
